The American Women's Club welcomes the Year of the Dragon

We hope you are enjoying a wonderful holiday season, whether at home or in your new Shanghai home.
During this extended Christmas to Chinese New Year holiday season many of our regular activities are scaled back a bit, since many of our members are out of town. Please check here and the calendar page to see new events as they occur. Our latest SPIRIT issue was for Dec/Jan, so expect a new issue in February.

Watch for These Upcoming Events

February Meet & Greet

When: Wednesday, Feb 8th, 12am-12noon
Where: Four Seasons Hotel, 500 Weihai Lu, near Shimen Yi Lu

In order to allow for our members to return from Chinese New Year trips, our February Meet & Greet will be held a week later than usual. As always, new signups are welcome, annual AWCS membership is 300 RMB with foreign passport or copy.

VIVA LAS VEGAS

When:    SATURDAY, MARCH 3rd, 7:00pm–12:00am
Where: Intercontinental Hotel Puxi, 500 Heng Feng Road
             中国上海市恒丰路 500
Cost:    550rmb/person (Members/significant other event only)
             Dress: Formal/Black-tie optional

Join us for a glitzy evening of gambling, dancing and socializing with your friends.

A champagne toast will start the evening. Free flow wine, beer and soda, plus heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the evening. Music provided by DJ Thomas.

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year ! Proceeds from the Silent Auction and Raffles Tickets will support Heart to Heart Shanghai and Starfish Foster Home.
